QLD Learner Companion is free to use and does not include subscriptions, paid upgrades, or in-app payments.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how QLD Learner Companion handles information used to run the learner logbook companion app.

Information you provide

The app may store information you enter, including:

• account name and email address
• learner trip details, locations, dates, times, and odometer readings
• vehicle nicknames and number plates
• supervisor names, contact details, licence details, and approval status
• supervisor approval signatures and rejection reasons

How information is used

Information is used to provide the app, save your logbook records, continue active trips, send supervisor approval emails, and generate CSV or PDF exports.

Emails

The app can send account emails and supervisor approval emails. Approval links include secure tokens so supervisors can approve or reject trips without signing in.

Payments

The app does not collect payment information. There are no subscriptions, paid upgrades, or in-app payments.

Data sharing

Your information is not sold. Information is shared only as needed to run the app, such as sending email through the configured email service, or when you choose to export or share your own records.

Security

The app uses account authentication and stores passwords as hashes. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so keep your login details private and only share approval links with the intended supervisor.

Deleting your account

If you delete your account from the profile page, your account and saved logbook data are removed from the app database.

Official logbook requirements

QLD Learner Companion is an independent companion tool and is not affiliated with TMR. You should still follow Queensland's official learner logbook requirements for final submission.
